About our namesakes

佩顿大厅 is named in memory of 乔治·L. Peyton, member of the SMU Board of Trustees.  乔治·L. Peyton (1884-1939) was a Methodist minister, director of Wesley Bible Choir, Professor of Religion, 1934年至1939年担任新大董事会成员.
