埃尔莎Tamez 是卫理公会和解放神学家. 出生在墨西哥, 塔梅兹教授在洛桑大学获得神学博士学位, Switzerland; her Licentiate in Theology in 1979 from the Latin American Biblical Seminary; and a Licentiate in Literature and Linguistics at the National University of Costa Rica in 1986. 她是哥斯达黎加拉丁美洲圣经大学的教员，也是哥斯达黎加普世调查部(DEI)研究小组的成员. 她已婚，有两个孩子.
